Petro Canada Campaign

Graphic Design
Project Overview
The goal was to respond to a professional brief from McCann to promote Petro Canada Ice in a way that feels authentically Canadian. I developed "Frozen Memories," a campaign that leans into the nostalgic role ice plays in our lives, from backyard rinks to summer road trips. To bring this to life, I designed a series of campaign materials and interactive mockups, including a themed photobooth, focusing on how a simple product can be tied to the shared experiences that define the Canadian seasons.
For the design execution of this McCann brief, I acted as the lead graphic designer and contributed to the initial ideation. Our group’s strategy was to lean into the recognizable Petro-Canada visual identity, so we maintained the bold red, black, and white color palette alongside their signature strong sans-serif typography. To bring our "Frozen Memories" concept to life, we used AI prompting to generate high-fidelity mockups of our custom freezer installations. These visuals helped illustrate how a simple, everyday purchase could be transformed into a 360° campaign that celebrates the "moment-freezing" potential of a road trip or a cottage weekend, connecting a utility product like bagged ice to the heart of Canadian life.
