Project Overview

For this project, I took one of my favorite albums and set out to give it a fresh visual identity while staying true to the artist's original vibe. Using the composition and design techniques from my classes, I focused on creating an alternative cover that captures the specific mood and energy of the music. It was a great exercise in balancing my own creative style with the established aesthetic of the artist to make something that feels like a natural extension of their work.

For the design choices on this redesign, I started with an image from Unsplash that I felt perfectly captured the mood of the album. To give it more depth and a tactile feel, I layered in texture and grain, allowing the elements to overlap with the typography for a more integrated look. I also went with a bold, sans serif font to contrast with the gritty visuals, creating a clean but high-impact cover that feels like a modern evolution of the original artist ( Lithe)'s aesthetic
